At the crossroads of sound and imagination stands OAKUM, a Vancouver-based artist transforming emotions into immersive musical experiences. By day, Kieran Jenkins shapes the world as an aspiring architect; by night, he becomes OAKUM, crafting compositions that blur reality and cinematic fantasy. 

Picking up where innovative artists, like Porter Robinson, Flume, and ODESZA, left off, his music is more than notes—it's a narrative spun with cinematic threads, inviting listeners to explore new dimensions of feeling.

2024 was a breakout year for OAKUM, making his debut festival appearance at this years, SOLD OUT, Friendzy Fest in Alberta as well as making multiple cameos in Def3’s festival sets @ Shambhala, Wicked Woods, & Electric Love. His music has been supported by top tier headliners like Levity, Dr. Fresch, Maddy Oneal and more being played to tens of thousands of fans at fests like Electric Forest, Lost Lands and Burning Man. 

Extending his artistry, OAKUM designs visuals that accompany his music, elevating each piece into a multi-sensory journey. These visuals are integral to his storytelling, enveloping audiences in a narrative where music and imagery coalesce.

Although relatively new to touring in comparison to his peers his performances have been highly impactful, and turning the heads of everyone in attendance in his hometown of Vancouver and U.S. cities like Denver, New York, Idaho, and Seattle, OAKUM is poised to bring his dynamic blend of bass, beats, and cinematic soundscapes to festivals throughout Canada and the U.S. and is quickly becoming many headliner DJ’s secret weapon.

Upcoming collaborations with K+Lab, Def3, ill.gates, Julia Khan, and Ashleigh Ball promise to showcase his evolving artistry to broader audiences.
